Miss Lindsay has had a passion for music and singing from a very young age. Growing up, her parents and family embraced every chance to play music and sing and dance along.
This encouraged Lindsay to go on to study and perform voice and music throughout her life, having always had a musical ear and desire to sing.
She sang in choirs, musical theatre, and was the lead vocalist in several rock bands. She performed for school, her community, and sang the National Anthem at sporting events for the Miami Heat, NASCAR races and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Lindsay taught voice and musical theatre to children in her home town in Florida and then went on to obtain a Minor in Vocal Performance, Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing, and a Masters of Business Administration.
Though Lindsay has worked in healthcare as a personal care assistant, in the entertainment industry writing for a production magazine, and broadcasting television to mobile phones, her dream job has always been to work in music.
When Lindsay became a mother to her son Patrick she realized how important it was to teach him music from the start and also how much she enjoyed it.
She found Kids' MusicRound and loved the program and curriculum so much that she became a licensed KMR teacher.
That's when she decided to start Melodies and Me and help bring the gift of music to other parents and children!
